Guest artist Laurence Matheson joins Orchestra 21 on piano and as director, for a performance featuring:

  • Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 12

  • Haydn: Symphony No. 45, ‘Farewell Symphony’

    Emilie Mayer: String Quartet in A major (arr. for String Orchestra) Adagio

  • Caerwen Martin: ‘Stars Come out in a Midnight Sky’

The Orchestra 21 Salon

Join us at the Knox Street Concert Lounge for an afternoon of chamber music performed by Orchestra 21 musicians and special guest pianist Laurence Matheson, followed by  light refreshments.


The programme features piano works, highlights from the string quartet repertoire, and a touch of brass!


By joining us, you’ll be supporting Orchestra 21’s mission to enrich Melbourne’s cultural life—nurturing musical excellence, creating opportunities for musicians, and ensuring high-quality chamber music remains accessible to audiences across the community.
